UP now open to AY ‘22-’23 applicants

Republika

Aspiring University of the Philippines students can now submit applications for admission into the state-run school.

On its website, UP advised: “Due to the dynamic developments in the public health situation in the light of Covid-19, there is no final decision yet as to whether an admission test will be administered for intake year 2022-2023.”
In lieu of entrance test results, UP added that admissions will be based on high school grades.

They said: “[A] composite of the final grades in Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 shall be the basis to determine the UPG.”

Also, those applying for certain degree programs may need additional requirements to qualify, but socioeconomic and geographic factors are taken into account as well.

Applicants are directed to visit upcollegeadmissions.up.edu.ph to access the online portal. The deadline for applications is on Nov 30, 2021.
