Finally, TV5 catches up with GMA Network and ABS-CBN in producing station IDs.
With many big stars having moved into its stable (in the wake of ABS-CBN shutdown) couple with the great challenges of 2020, it’s only fitting for the network to come up with heartfelt and inspired Christmas Station ID featuring its expanding catalog of stars for this holiday season.
The storyline is based on the composition, Tuloy Pa Rin Ang Pasko, by master composer Louie Ocampo while lyrics are provided by writer and producer Noel Ferrer.
The song talks of the undying Filipino spirit, and how our inherent resilience keeps driving us to move forward, amidst our struggles. The song encourages the common Filipino to be compassionate with one another and to spread the magic of cooperation, so everyone can be afforded the chance to turn things around this Christmas.
Online sensations Katrina Velarde and Darryl Ong are joined by International R&B Sensation Billy Crawford and The Voice Kids (ABS-CBN) Season 1 winner Lyca Gairanod in lending their voices for the song, whose upbeat melody imparts a feeling of celebration and gratefulness.
Lending their precious presence in the station ID are TV5’s most recent and biggest transferees, including veteran journalist, Ted Failon, DJ Chacha, former ABS-CBN talents Maris Racal, Pokwang, Jane Oineza, Jake Cuenca, Jessy Mendiola, Ria Atayde, Alex Diaz, Alex Gonzaga, among others.
Prominent News5 personalities Raffy Tulfo, Cheryl Cosim, and Luchi Cruz Valdez are given special highlights, as well as APT Entertainment talents Paolo Ballesteros, Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, and Ryan Agoncillo.
As generic as station IDs may sound, Tuloy Pa Rin Ang Pasko conveys messages that Filipinos could easily appreciate: The pandemic has taken its toll on many lives worldwide and many Filipino households have suffered and are still suffering in its wake. unbelievable floodings.
