Jomel Lapides of Unisersity of the Philippines (Manila) is a board exam topnotcher – times two.
Last week, Lapides was confirmed to have topped the 2020 physicians’ licensure exams administered by the Philippine Regulations Commission (PRC) with a score of 88.67 percent.
Nine years ago, Lapides, also a graduate of UP Manila, emerged topnotcher of the board exams for nurses.
Curiously, in the recent board exams, Lapides was followed closely by Patrick Mabugat of University of Saint La Salle and Adrian Teves of University of Santo Tomas, who topped the 2014 board exams for medical technologists and physical therapists, respectively.
