SJ pupils get digital literacy program

San Juan City recently launched , a digital literacy program to provide public school students with computer science education during the current distance learning setup.


The program, which was achieved in collaboration with Ayala Foundation and Ortigas Land, is designed to give students a “sure edge” in terms of employment prospects, given that most jobs demand a level of computer skills from applicants.


Initially, it was supposed to be unveiled in the earlier this year but had been postponed due to Covid19. will be piloted at Pinaglabanan Elementary School.


The city has previously pioneered other projects of the information and communications technology department, among which free WiFi in public spaces is one.
