Republika

In a bid to significantly boost their assistance in the fight against Covid19, Robinsons Malls all over the country are partnering with local government units (LGUs) to serve as vaccination areas for residents.

While other branches are yet to open their doors for inoculation, some malls such as Robinsons Place Antipolo, Tuguegarao, GenSan, Imus and Galleria Cebu, recently began their initiatives.

LGU officials such as Antipolo mayor Andeng Ynares, Tuguegarao mayor Jefferson Soriano, and Cebu City vice mayor Mike Rama, were administered their first dose of the Covid19 vaccine at their respective areas to help encourage residents to get vaccinated as well.

Robinsons Malls in Imus, Cavite partnered with their LGU to hold a drive-through vaccination event utilizing the mall’s parking areas.

Meanwhile, Robinsons Place GenSan has been designated as a safe and accessible mega-vaccination hub for constituents.

The retail corporation will be opening more sites in various branches nationwide to further aid in the country’s vaccination efforts.

As of April 27 a total of 1,562,815 initial doses of Covid19 vaccines have been administered, while 246,986 have received their second dose.
