Police seize P150M shabu in Cebu

LAPU LAPU CITY – Police here seized P150 million in shabu from a high-value target in a drug sting last week.


The suspect was identified as Gilbert Lumanog, 30, a former university professor in Cebu City who appears on the drugs watchlist in the region.
In congratulating his men, P/Brig. Gen. Albert Ferro, Central Visayas PNP

Region 7 director, said this is the “biggest haul” so far during his stint.
Ferro said the shabu was contained in tea bags in preparation for their distribution to lower-level dealers.


He said the bust was in coordination with Quezon City police who had alerted his office of the presence of the shabu in the region.
