Operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Customs and the Philippine Coast Guard on May 20 confiscated alleged fake face shields amounting to some P70 million in a Parañaque warehouse.

Boxes of smuggled Heng De brand face shields were in a warehouse located at 83 Luzon Road, BF Homes, Parañaque City at 4:30 p.m.

Reports said that according to the authorities, the warehouse is the source of fake personal protective equipment (PPE) in the market.
After further investigation, the BOC will destroy the seized items.
