Anyone, who can pinpoint to the killers of Dr. Mary Rose Sancelan and her husband Edwin, can get the P.5 million award from the Guihulngan City government.
This was reiterated by Guihulngan City Mayor Carlos Jorge Joan Reyes, provided that the evidence presented is solid and tight, leading to the conviction of the gunmen.
The Sancelan couple was on their way home when they were ambushed by motor-riding assassins on Tuesday, Dec. 15.
It was reported that the physician Sancelan was on the “hit list” of the anti-communist vigilante group a year ago accusing her for being a member or sympathizer of the New People’s Army.
Mayor Reyes wants to stop the spate of “extra judicial” killings of his turf that disturb the tranquility of the residents.
The mayor has urged the law enforcers to bring to justice all those killed allegedly by the vigilantes in the city.
