Over 400 call center agents in Davao City downed by Covid

Over 400 employees of a call center company in Davao City have been infected with Covid19, it was reported recently.

According to Assistant City Health Officer Dr. Marjorie Callas, in a virtual press conference, those who got the virus were among 1,000 workers of a large call center outfit who were subjected to swab testing due to a small outbreak in the work area.

As a result, local health authorities were obliged to impose a lockdown to prevent further spread of the disease.
