COVID19 is real and savage. A year of pandemic, it’s getting closer home as patients now have names and faces.

The showbiz industry is one badly affected by this global health problem. Not only this sector has been deprived of income, like many industries, but because entertainers have been sick and afflicted by the virus lately.

Of course, the first one to come out with near death experience last year was actress Iza Calzado and Sylvia Sanchez. And several others like Michael V, Richard Yap, and Gab Valenciano, also got sick of Covid last year.

With more virus variants this year, as WHO and DOH keep us posted, many more entertainers are being exposed to the deadly virus.

Sunshine Cruz, for one, has recently recovered and revealed that she was experiencing the symptoms even on her 20th day of isolation.
More showbiz personalities are opening up about their COVID-19 battle.

Recently, Rhian Ramos, K Brosas, and Glaiza De Castro also revealed having recovered from the disease.

Angeli Valenciano also isolated herself and prayed that her husband, Gary, be spared from contracting the virus because of his comorbidities.

Meanwhile, husband-wife Ogie and Regine Alcasid, along with Gretchen Barretto have happily announced their vaccine jabs against the virus.

Despite the bleak scenario, Republika is hoping and praying that we get more positive and entertaining showbiz news, other than the dreaded virus, in the days to come.
