Metro, 38 other areas under Alert Level 1

Metro Manila and 38 other areas will be placed under the most lenient Alert Level 1 from March 1, Tuesday, to March 15.


According to authorities, there have been less than 2,000 infections for the ninth week since February 27.


Under alert Level 1, establishments will be allowed to operate at full capacity while still observing minimum health protocols, while inter- and intrazonal travel will also be permitted regardless of age and comorbidities.
Face-to-face classes for basic education needs the approval of the Office of the President.


Apart from the Metro, areas under Alert Level 1 are as follow:


Luzon: Abra, Apayao, Baguio City, Kalinga, Dagupan City, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Batanes, Cagayan, City of Santiago, Isabela, Quirino, Angeles City, Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Olongapo City, Pampanga, Tarlac, Cavite, Laguna, Marinduque, Puerto Princesa City, Romblon, Naga City, Catanduanes.


Visayas: Aklan, Bacolod City, Capiz, Guimaras, Siquijor, Biliran.


Mindanao: Zamboanga City, Cagayan de Oro City, Camiguin, Davao City.
