Mandaluyong to hit herd immunity in Q3

Republika

Mandaluyong City expects to achieve herd immunity at least by October 2021, according to Mayor Carmelita Abalos.

In a radio interview last week, Mayor Abalos said City health officials are aiming to inoculate 7,000 persons daily, and should this be met the targeted herd immunity will be achieved.

Abalos, who is the wife of Metro Manila Development Authority chairman Ben Hur Abalos, said City Hall has already given the first dose to 100 percent of its A1 and A3 priority groups and 58 percent to the A2 group (senior citizens).
