Companions of deceased flight attendant Christine Dacera–Rommel Galido, John Pascual dela Serna III, Gregorio de Guzman, Clark Rapinan and Valentine Rosales–have lodged administrative complaints against four Makati police officers at the Philippine National Police Internal Affairs Service earlier this week.
Mike Santiago, who represents them, was present at the filing.
The formerly accused five seek the dismissal of Makati police chief Col. Harold Depositar, Cpt. Danilo Oamli, S/Sgt. Jun Alimurong and Cpl. Louie Lopez for the purported mishandling of the probe against them as suspects in their friend’s death.
IAS inspector Alfegar Triambulo reported that investigators were given 30 days to resolve the complaint.
During Dacera’s autopsy, it was discovered that an aortic aneurysm caused her demise. Her family however, assert that she was drugged and raped.
Last January 1, Christine Dacera was found unresponsive in a bathtub of a room she booked at the Makati City Garden Grand Hotel, where she had spent New Year’s Eve with 11 other companions. She was rushed to Makati Medical Center but was declared dead upon arrival.
