World No. 1 golfer Dustin Johnson won the Covid-delayed 2020 Masters in record fashion with a 20-under 268 over 72 holes at Augusta National.
His score erased the former record of 18-under 270 jointly held by Tiger Woods and Jordan Spieth.
Five strokes behind, tied for second, were Sungjae Im of South Korea and Cameron Smith of Australia.
For his efforts, Johnson took home $2.07 million and most importantly the famous green jacket reserved only for Masters champions, while Im and Smith banked over $1 million each.
The Masters, which is usually held in April, was postponed until November due to the coronavirus pandemic to give organizers ample time to establish adequate precautionary measures to protect the players, staff and audience.
