Isko files COC for president

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso has crossed his Rubicon.
Last week, Moreno filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for the position of president in the 2022 elections at the Comelec tent at the Sofitel Hotel in Pasay City.

Moreno will be running under the aegis of the Aksyon Demokratiko (AD), which he heads, with social media personality Dr. Willie Ong as his vice presidential running mate.

“Ngayon, mga kababayan, tanggapin niyo po and aplikasyon ko buong kababaang loob; ako po ay tumatakbong Pangulo ng bansa at aplikante ninyo,” he said in a post-filing speech.

So far, Samira Gutoc and radio host Carl Balita are joining the AD’s senatorial slate.
