Republika

Davao City – Mayor Sara Duterte’s chief media officer was sacked last week from her post after it was discovered she had attended a birthday party which was raided by anti-illegal drugs policemen.

Reports said operatives confiscated some P1.5 million in prohibited drugs and substances, and arrested 17 persons during the raid on a resort in Mabini, Davao de Oro who were caught in the act of having a pot session.

The sacked city media official was identified as Jefry Tupas who admitted she had indeed attended the festivity with her boyfriend, but allegedly left the premises several minutes prior to the arrival of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and other concerned authorities.

Reports said the PDEA was able to arrest their main target identified as Revsan Elizalde, a resident of Davao City, who was the birthday celebrant.
