Because there is no place like home, actress Alice Dixson braved the current health pandemic and travelled all the way from the US to bring home her baby.
Yes, after a month of staying in Canada and the US, Alice has finally returned to the Philippines bringing along her priceless little package.
Alice, who has a huge following in her social media accounts, has been documenting her travels with Baby A strictly following the health protocols.
They are currently in quarantine at a hotel in BGC.
The 51-year-old actress first shared a short video of herself with her newborn moments after their plane touched down.
She could be seen cradling her baby as they listened to the announcer list down the quarantine protocols for returning overseas Filipinos.
She then shared the next video with them transferring to the hotel for the needed 14 days quarantine.
Alice shocked netizens when she announced that she would be bringing home Baby A amid the current situation and despite well-meaning advice to stay awhile in the US. But the brave woman — who apparently became bravest by his new role as a mother — has to go home to be with her family.
She promised to share her journey in her YouTube channel so others may learn something how to do it properly during uncertain times like what we have now.
She admitted trying to get pregnant for the last 10 years but was unsuccessful, so she and her partner decided to go through the process of surrogacy.
