Angeles City – Four Chinese nationals were killed last week in a shootout with lawmen during a buy-bust operation that resulted in the recovery of some PhP262-million worth of shabu.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) officials identified the fatalities as Cai Ya Bing of Yungcheng City (Shanxi); Erbo Ke of Quangzhou City (Fujian); and Huang Guidong and Jinpeng Zhang of Zhang Zhou (Fujian).
Recovered were some 38 kilograms of shabu, assorted firearms and drug paraphernalia.
The PDEA said a firefight occurred when the suspects suddenly realized that they were transacting business with undercover agents.
