At least 33 countries are now infected with the new coronavirus mutant from the United Kingdom which is possibly more contagious than the first one from Wuhan.
The countries that had reported cases of the new strain (so far) are Ireland, Iceland, Taiwan, China, Portugal, Norway, Malta, Brazil, Chile, Belgium, Israel and Jordan.
France, The Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Canada, Japan, Lebanon, Singapore and Australia.
Turkey, Pakistan, India, Finland, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the U.S.A.
Earlier, Malacanang imposed a ban (until January 15) on travelers coming from only 21 countries supposedly to contain the spread of the new virus strain from the UK.
